My Friend

Dedicated to my beloved, Deepika Sharma.

Come on!
It’s a new morning.
Let’s take a new way.
Let’s forget about the quarrel.
We should strike a friendship with the moon.
Let’s share our laughable incidents with the people we don’t know.
Let’s get out to the open sky.
Do what we want and don’t be shy.
Call all the friends to gather around.
Drink up the joy in another round.
On occasions we would dance together.
On occasions we would smile together.
I’ll find none like you.
You’re my comrade.
You’re my friend.
