Locked in the Room

She locks herself in her room.

Her parents are shouting outside.
For this moment she doesn’t listen to them.
Her head may just boom.
Her heart for tears is open wide.
Then she falls apart.

She can’t bear the ticking of clock.
Her surruondings are a frozen rock.
From hand time slips more and more.
With every slip she doesn’t want to cry anymore.

Her tears rolling down make trails
On her cheeks which seem to sink.
Toughening herself she gets up.
After hours she finally sleeps with her eyes numb.
